Harvard housing report unflattering for Florida

Take a gander at these garish statistics from an annual report released Monday on the nation’s housing market:

• 15 percent of all foreclosures completed in the U.S. in 2010 were in Florida, the highest share of any state.

• Of the 6,506 census tracts nationwide with the most foreclosures completed last year, 1,423 were located in Florida, the most of any state. Census tracts are groups of neighborhoods that average 1,500 to 2,000 households.
